1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Maple Craft Collective. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at money-visionary.com and any related services provided by Maple Craft Collective ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, then you may not access our website or use our services.

2. Description of Services

Maple Craft Collective provides:

  • Craft workshop instruction and education
  • Sale of handmade crafts and art supplies
  • Event hosting and private group sessions
  • Online content and resources related to crafts
  • Newsletter and communication services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

To access certain features of our services, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as necessary
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business.

4. Workshop Registration and Participation

Registration Requirements

Workshop participants must:

  • Be at least 16 years old (unless accompanied by a parent/guardian)
  • Complete registration and payment before workshop date
  • Provide emergency contact information
  • Disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation

Workshop Policies

  • Attendance: Workshops begin promptly at scheduled times
  • Safety: All participants must follow safety guidelines and instructor directions
  • Materials: Basic materials are included; additional supplies may incur extra charges
  • Behavior: Disruptive behavior may result in removal without refund

5. Payment and Refund Policy

Payment Terms

  • Payment is required at time of registration
  • Prices include applicable taxes (HST)
  • We accept major credit cards and electronic payment methods
  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)

Refund Policy

  • Cancellation by participant: Full refund if cancelled 48+ hours before workshop; 50% refund if cancelled 24-48 hours before; no refund for cancellations less than 24 hours
  • Cancellation by us: Full refund or credit toward future workshop
  • No-shows: No refund for failure to attend without prior notice
  • Medical emergencies: Considered on case-by-case basis with documentation

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by Maple Craft Collective or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

User-Generated Content

By submitting content to our website (reviews, photos, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and display such content for business purposes.

Workshop Techniques

Techniques taught in workshops are for personal use. Commercial use of proprietary methods requires written permission.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Transmit or share harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use our services for commercial purposes without permission

  • Spam or send unsolicited communications
  • Collect user information without consent

8. Safety and Liability

Workshop Safety

Craft workshops involve the use of tools and materials that may pose risks. Participants acknowledge and assume responsibility for:

  • Following all safety instructions and guidelines
  • Using tools and equipment properly
  • Reporting any injuries or incidents immediately
  • Participating at their own risk

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maple Craft Collective shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury or property damage during workshops
  • Loss or theft of personal belongings
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Damages resulting from third-party actions

Insurance and Waiver

Participants are encouraged to maintain personal health insurance. By participating in workshops, you waive certain claims against Maple Craft Collective as outlined in our liability waiver.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Third-Party Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for:

  • The content or practices of third-party sites
  • Products or services offered by third parties
  • Privacy policies of external websites
  • Transactions with third-party vendors

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either party. We may terminate your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use our services ceases immediately

  • Outstanding payments remain due
  • Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

14. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before pursuing formal legal action, parties agree to attempt good faith resolution through direct communication.

Mediation

If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation through a mutually agreed mediator.

Limitation Period

Any claims must be brought within one (1) year of the date the cause of action arose.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Maple Craft Collective regarding your use of our services.
